Father’s Day is coming up. This is a time when we take the time to appreciate the dads who are a part of our homeschooling journey. These dads give up a lot to help us, but not only that, they help and support us along the way.
So many homeschool dads take on the load of the main income, they put in the hours and spend the time away so that moms can stay home with the kids. Celebrating the fathers in our lives who take on this responsibility is important. We can show them how much we appreciate their financial support of our homeschool lifestyle.
Even though homeschool dads may be working outside the home for long hours, they are there when we need them. They also step in and up when we need them. They come in when things get tough. They help teach some of the lessons that we just cannot teach. They are there for the family.
Homeschool dads also offer guidance and direction as leaders of our homes. They pray for us and with us as we complete daily tasks. Honoring dads who are our spiritual leaders is a wonderful way to show them we care and appreciate them.
What are some ways that you will celebrate the fathers in your life? How can we honor dads for Father’s Dad and all year long?
