Study Guides – Christian Heroes Then & Now & Heroes of History Reviews

This article is in collaboration with YWAM Publishing.

Children need strong, positive role models to look up to in life, both in person and throughout history. YWAM Publishing, the publishing side of Youth With a Mission, brings this type of role model, and their history, to life in their books based off the lives of men and women in history. Members of the Homeschool Review Crew were blessed to receive a selected title from their Christians Heroes: Then & Now, or Heroes of History series. Within the pages of these books are the lives and stories of strong, inspirational men and women of history whose lives embolden and motivate children to make a difference in their own worlds.

Christian Heroes: Then & Now

Christian Heroes: Then & Now covers history from 1700 to 1960 in 47 titles written by Janet and Geoff Benge. These books are available in single titles and boxed sets, and each title as a study guide also available for purchase. The crew were given their choice of five titles from this series, along with the accompanying study guide.

Heroes of History

Also written by Janet and Geoff Benge, Heroes of History are based on men and women from history whose live changed the course of history, forever. The 29 books in this series cover from Christopher Columbus born in 1451 to Ben Carson born in 1951. The crew were given their choice among the follow 25 selected titles, again with the accompanying study guide.
