Creative Problem Solving, Dare to Compare Math, Mastering Logic & Math and Who Is This Kid? Colleges Want to Know! Reviews

This article is in collaboration with The Critical Thinking Co.™

One of the things we want as parents is children who can think through things. Children who grow to make wise decision and then back them up. Homeschool publisher The Critical Thinking Co.™ aims to support parents in reaching that goal by providing products in several subjects that help to sharpen students minds, get better test scores, and general success in life!

You may wonder what exactly is Critical Thinking? What does the term mean? It is, “Identifying and evaluating evidence to guide decision-making.” In other words helping your students to using their brains to come to a decision and be able to back up what they believe. This is so important in these times.

About the Critical Thinking Co.™

The Critical Thinking Co.™ was started in a basement 1958 by John Baker. His goal was to curate products that helped children to think. That goal, in this family run business, continues today.

Each product from the Critical Thinking Co.™ is designed to help students analyze what they are learning and gain a deeper understanding of it. Critical Thinking products cover a range of subjects such as Reading, Writing, Math, Science, and Social Studies. And the curriculum starts from Pre-K and goes all the way to the 12th grade.

Recently the Homeschool Review Crew got a chance to use several Critical Thinking Co.™ products with their children. And provide feedback on how these tools worked in their own homeschools.

Homeschool families tested out…

Creative Problem Solving Level 1 : Problem solving skills for the very young.

Dare to Compare Math: Beginning : Help your grade schoolers think a little more deeply about their math problems.

Mastering Logic & Math Problem Solving : This resource works on helping middle schoolers improve their problem solving skills.

Who Is This Kid? Colleges Want to Know! : This product helps high schoolers work through the questions they might come upon in preparation for college.
