Captain Absolutely Review

Focus On The Family
This article is in collaboration with Focus on the Family.

Over the last few weeks the families on the Homeschool Review Crew have been discovering the joy of comic books and have been reading Captain Absolutely from Focus On The Family.

There’s an EXPLOSION in the library and our hero, Josiah King, a mild-mannered librarian, runs for cover in a room full of Bibles. With nothing better to do while awaiting his rescue, Josiah read God’s Word for the first time and, coupled with some radioactive fumes, becomes CAPTAIN ABSOLUTELY. And so the adventure begins for Captain Absolutely battling his arch-nemesis, Dr. Relative, “defending Truth, Justice, and Lots more Truth!”

Captain Absolutely is written in comic style since it is a spinoff of the popular Adventures in Odyssey series and takes the reader on exciting adventures that post important questions about eternal truth and faith. The book, Captain Absolutely: Battle Against Dr. Relative helps children learn to stand firm in the faith in God in today’s tumultuous world.
