All About Reading – What Am I?

This article is in collaboration with All About Reading.
The Homeschool Crew reviewed the All About Spelling Program and the Beehive Reader 1 earlier this year.  Now, we get the opportunity to review a soon-to-be-released reader, called What Am I? that will be available from All About Spelling on April 1.

This reader follows Beehive Reader 1 (which, by the way, is getting a new title — Cobweb the Cat — same great book, different title), and coordinates with the first 14 steps in All About Spelling Level 2.  It can be used whether or not you use All About Spelling.  This book includes longer stories, but similar wonderful illustrations of endearing characters.

Plans are in the works to be introducing a brand-new All About Reading program late this year.  All About Reading can be used as a stand-alone program, but it will coordinate perfectly with All About Spelling.  After Level 1, each level of All About Reading will contain two readers.  All About Reading will include decoding skills, fluency, comprehension, vocabulary, and lots of reading practice.

  1. I wish our guys were young enough to truly enjoy this beginning reader. A great compliment to The Beehive Reader, What Am I is another beautiful book in words and illustrations. I highly recommend this, it is a living book!
