Word of the Year

Happy New Year from the Homeschool Review Crew!  Can you believe we are already in the second week of the new year already?  As we all look forward to 2018, it is our prayer here at the Homeschool Review Crew that your year is filled with blessings, transformation, and hope for the future God has planned for you.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11)

When we walk in His way we walk in rest.  Take some time.  Pray. Seek His will for YOU in 2018. Make it a positive word.  One that will inspire, encourage and uplift you when the going gets tough. Here are a couple of ideas to keep your word handy:

  • Write your word.
  • Draw a word cloud
  • Color a picture.
  • Put it up in a place where you can see it each and every day
  • add it to your mobile devices as a screensaver.

May you experience the depth and breadth of His love for you in 2018.  If you are a blogger please blog about your Word and link up below so we can be inspired and encouraged together.  If you don’t have a blog leave your word in the comments section I would love to hear about your inspiring WORD for 2018.

Some of the Crew would like to share their Word of the Year with you

Dawn @ Schoolin’Swag 2018 A ‘Purposeful’ Year – I want to make 2018 a year of using my time, talent and resources in a way that is ‘purposeful’ and according to God’s plan.

Cassandra @ A Glimpse of Normal One Word for 2018 – Last year was all about faith for us and being obedient to that word, led to this year’s word which is JOY.

Michele @ Family, Faith and Fridays VISION! “Now I am no word study expert (I will leave that to smarter people than me) but I SEE that vision in the Bible is something quite different than what I was originally thinking. And in reading it, I liked it even better! Go figure- God has a better definition! ;)”

Betty at Let’s Get Real Mine is Hope!

Carol @ – Home Sweet Life – When God chooses a word for your year, and it is not the one you wanted it to be.

Wendy R @ Life at Rossmont This year, I feel God calling me to Walk: follow His footsteps; walk out in faith, even when I can’t see the end from the beginning.

Roxanne Raiche – Homework and Horseplay – Ditching the New Year’s Resolution This year I am determined… Determined to let go of the past, and live a healthier lifestyle!
