What About Homeschooling Burnout?

It’s that time of year when we, as homeschool parents can use a little encouragement and refreshment.  Burnout is something practically every homeschool parent will encounter at one time or another during their homeschool years.  What can we do about it?  Besides the big one:  prayer, we can also be prepared for when burnout strikes.  Our TOS Crew members have some advice and encouraging words for you in their posts this week.  I encourage you to visit their blogs and kindly leave a comment or two to let them know how much you appreciate them taking the time to share their thoughts during their busy homeschool days.  We hope you enjoy this week’s cruise!

Catherine @ Serenades and Solace discusses Giving yourself permission to STOP.

Laurie @ Laurie’s School Days says Shake it Up!

Lisa @ The Berry Patch details Keeping Sane While Homeschooling.

Betty @ Peace Creek on the Prairie writes Homeschool Burnout~Avoiding the inevitable.

  1. In case you are interested the freebies below for yesterday and today at Homeschool Freebies of the Day are relevant to this topic. I have not had time to read them/listen to them yet but I have heard by Tammy Cardwell before and she is a good speaker.
