I have been using http://www.spellingcity.com in my classroom for 5 years and it is fantastic! I love being able to add my leveled lists as well as using the games such as Hang Mouse on my smartboard. It is defiantly a favorite homework activity for my students. I am super excited about their new iPad app this year.

We love http://www.spellingcity.com/ We use it a lot. With our younger daughter, I create a vocabulary list with similar sounds to help with her spelling. I also create vocabulary lists with definitions to go with whatever book she is reading to help with comprehension. She loves to play the sentence and definition match it games.
With my older kids, we use it with our Apologia science curriculum. I create a vocabulary list using the scientific terms that are in the unit they are studying. This is a great tool for better understanding of the unit before the test!
