heidi st. johnThe Busy Mom,  Heidi St. John, has been married to her husband Jay since 1989. They have seven children ages 2 to 21 and have homeschooled all the way through high school. A popular radio guest, blogger, author and conference speaker, Heidi approaches homeschooling with humor and grace at events across North America and Europe.  Her passion to encourage homeschool moms and set them free to be who God has created them to be will bless and encourage you.

Heidi is the author of “The Busy Homeschool Mom’s Guide to Romance: Nurturing Your Marriage Through the Homeschool Years” and “The Busy Homeschool Mom’s Guide to Daylight.” Together, Jay and Heidi are also authors of the popular reflective, integrated family Bible Study program “Firmly Planted,” designed to walk both parents and children through the Word of God in a way that can change lives.

Heidi and her husband Jay are also the founders and executive directors of Firmly Planted Family Ministries, a parachurch organization dedicated to helping parents strengthen their marriages and disciple their children in the Word of God both individually, and through homeschool co-ops.

Heidi’s speaking topics in Ontario will include:

The Secret In The Sunset – Grumble Much?: Slow down with Heidi as she shares candidly about finding peace and strength for your heart in the midst of the busyness of homeschooling and raising seven children.

Better For Best: Keeping Christ As The Center Of Your Homeschool: Learn the secret of developing an intimate spiritual life and why it makes all the difference in your family and marriage.

R.E.A.L. L.I.F.E. Homeschooling: If you have been or are on the edge of homeschool burnout, if you are wondering why God has called you on this homeschooling journey, or if you just need some honest, real encouragement, this is the one homeschool workshop you can’t afford to miss out on!

The Busy Mom’s Guide To Daylight – Tick Tock: Homeschool mom, if you’re struggling with trying to do it all, you will enjoy hearing some of Heidi’s favorite tips for managing homeschooling and homemaking…and still finding time to fit in “other things” (like alone time with your husband!)

  1. I probably would listen to Homeschooling the First Three Years, first. REAL homeschooling looks real interesting too!

  2. Definitely R.E.A.L. Life. Homeschooling for years and feeling some pretty extreme stress and burnout right now to see our high school years through with grace.

  3. The Busy Mom’s Guide to Daylight

I sat in two of your workshops ^^ and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly at the SC convention and really hated that I missed the one on Romance! 🙁 I gleaned some wonderful truths from you! Thanks!

  4. I promised the Lord, at the beginning of the year, that I would make my husband and marriage the focus… I’d for sure want to listen to the Guide to Romance first!

  5. I’d listen to the multilevel one first! We’re about to add a second to the homeschool rotation, and still have a preschooler then as well as a new one coming… it’s about to get interesting!!!! 😉
