Many of you will be getting ready to wrap up your studies for the summer. Even as you may be planning for some more laid back days, you’re probably beginning to plan for the next school year. Others of you may be planning to continue working through the summer. Wherever you happen to be with your family’s schooling, our next set of reviews will be a great help to you and your students.
This month, some of our Crew members have had the opportunity to try out the online curriculum from Time 4 Learning. This program is suitable for the whole family, grades PreK-12, providing lessons in:
- Language Arts: Phonics, Reading, Grammar.
- Math: Elementary Math, Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus & Trigonometry.
- Science: Elementary Science, Earth Science, Life Science, Physical Science, Biology, Chemistry & Physics.
- Social Studies: Geography, Government, History & World History
Time 4 Learning not only teaches students, it also grades lessons, and generates reports. Parents and students have their own log in information.
The Parent Dashboard allows parents to plan lessons, view progress, as well as helping them create transcripts and portfolios. The Student Dashboard provides students with assignment information, quizzes, tests, and general course content. In short, this program takes care of the tedious details for parents.
Parents will appreciate the flexibility and freedom to create individualized lesson plans for their children. This self paced program allows students to work through classes faster, or to slow down if necessary. Grade levels may be changed at any time to accommodate student needs. Lessons are made up of instructional videos, narrations, exciting visuals, and plenty of humor. Printable worksheets and assessments are also available to accompany lessons. Students from every learning style will find something helpful and engaging about the activities offered in this curriculum.
