A number of the Crew Review members have been spending time with their kids reading the book Forensic Faith, while working through the Case Makers Academy. Together, these two things can help our children learn to be more confident in sharing their faith with others.
Forensic Faith, written by J. Warner Wallace and Susie Wallace is their latest foray into helping kids learn in this topic. They have been training young people for over a decade. J. Warner is a cold-case homicide detective and has been featured on numerous crime-related television shows. He is a former atheist and now has a master’s degree in theology. Susie has a master’s degree in speech pathology and co-writes and edits all the books within the series.
In the Case Makers Academy, children will join with three children (Daniel, Hannah, and Jason) as they learn to use investigative skills to solve a mystery, and become able to tell others about Jesus and God.
Students will read the book Forensic Faith, and watch videos pertinent to each chapter. Case Makers Academy also provides the viewer with downloadable activity and fill-in sheets, as well as a printable certificate when everything is completed. Children can make their own notebooks using the downloaded materials.
By the time children finish the book Forensic Faith and the online Case Makers Academy, they will have learned tools for investigating their questions, in order that they may be able to answer the questions from others about their faith.
