Crew members that will be participating in this review, received a variety package of Hank products, including the following:
The Case of the One-Eyed Killer Stud Horse. In this book, Hank encounters all kinds of trouble from poisoned bacon grease, to girl cousins, and Tuerto, one mean horse! It’s just one example of Hank’s great adventures.
Hank’s Tales and Tunes from Hank the Cowdog CD. This CD provides a great introduction to many of the characters in the Hank stories. They are performed like an old-time radio show with sound effects. John Erickson, the series author, provides a unique voice for each of the characters.
Hank’s Tornado Game is a wild, fast-paced race and chase game. Each person gets a Hank, Drover, and Junior the Buzzard game piece, and it’s a race to see who can get their pieces around the board and safe in their home spaces first. This game is accompanied by an audio cassette with 30 minutes of excerpts from Hank’s 25th story, The Case of the Swirling Killer Tornado.

This was so much fun!!! Awesome product, and my kids definitely want more Hank!
Oops! Could someone remove #17, please? I didn't realize it still had info in parentheses from a meme I did last week.
Thanks!
Very Creative, but the slang bothered me. Without that, the books would still be very funny. Game would be fun for travel.
This was a fun review for our family. Our oldest son really likes Hank, our younger son neither liked nor disliked the products, and our daughter liked dancing to the songs on the CD. Thanks for the opportunity to review these products!
Loved this product!
We really enjoyed reviewing this and hope to find lots more at our library! Thanks for the great opportunity!
Glad I could get my son very involved with this game and CD/Tape combo. He enjoyed telling me his opinion of all the different things he gets to listen and play with.
Hank the Cowdog has always been a family favorite here in our little Green Cottage in Central PA. Check out my full review here: http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/LoriLynn/715070/
Hank and Drover rock! My boys are ready for more audio books…looking forward to more good, cheap fun.
We loved these items. Thanks so much for allowing us to review this. Our family is definitely going to be looking for more Hank!
I had to post twice above, hope it's okay! When we got our Tornado game, all the dogs were brown. My 7 year old noticed. Without us even asking, Maverick was so nice to send us new white Drovers. Thank you Maverick Books!

Interesting books and songs. The game was our favorite though.

We loved the game and especially that it was self contained!

We have really enjoyed playing the Tornado game! However, the other parts of this review proved a little bit difficult and not quite age appropriate for our little guys!

The game was a big hit at our home.
Really gets those kids to want to read!
We really liked the game. The book was funn and so were the songs.
I didn't like some of the "slang" language. Disappointing…
