Debra is sometimes shocked to see how far her life has strayed from her initial career as a CPA. She has been married to Dale for 25 years, and they are the parents of four young men and one not-so-little-anymore girl, ages 21 down to 12. They’ve been homeschoolers all along and prefer a literature-based approach utilizing as many read-alouds and audiobooks as possible. Being a family of geeks, they also tend towards loads of science. Although they currently live on the Eastern plains of Colorado, they do try to make it “home” to North Dakota and Minnesota a couple times a year. You can find Debra blogging at Footprints in the Butter and has been a part of the Crew since 2009.
Amanda is a stay at home mom to four kids, 17 down to 3. She started this shortly after getting married when she and her husband adopted their oldest son. Homeschooling didn’t start right away, but when it did, the whole family fell in love with it. While Amanda likes to think they follow a Charlotte Mason style homeschool style, she is also the first to admit that she follows the leads and interests of her kids first and foremost. She has been with the Homeschool Review Crew since 2014 and has been blogging at Hopkins Homeschool since 2013.

Tess had planned to balance a semi-professional career in theater with being a wife and mother. God had other plans. She was first introduced to the idea of home education when her oldest daughter was a mere 14 months old and by the time her daughter was 3 considered herself a homeschooler. Her oldest daughter is now in college. Tess joined the crew in June 2010 as it began its 3rd year. She lives in wet, rainy, but beautiful western Washington with her husband of 24 years, four amazing daughters, and two cats. You can find Tess blogging at: Circling Through This Life. She has been reviewing for the Crew since 2010.
