Everybody has heard some of the alarming statistics out there regarding childhood obesity.  Ones like nearly 1 in 3 children and teens in the U.S. is overweight or obese.  The reasons for this are undoubtedly fairly complex, but clearly one answer is for kids to be more active, and to eat in a more healthy manner.

GoTrybe is one organization that is trying to help with that particular answer.

GoTrybe’s mission is to share fun, exciting workouts and activities, helping kids and parents to learn about healthy living.  They serve tens of thousands of children and teens.
GoTrybe provides a web-based program that can be accessed anywhere you have internet.  There is fitness, nutrition, motivation and wellness content every day.  You can choose a pre-planned workout, or customize one as shown here:
GoTrybe has programs available for different age groups:

  • ZooDoos is for the elementary ages, K-5th grade
  • Trybe180 is for middle school ages, 6th-8th grade
  • NexTrybe is for high school ages, 9th-12th grade

Crew members received a subscription to various levels of the program,  and you can check out what they had to say below!  Then you can go and sign up — GETFIT will let you try it yourself for free, and after that trial, a full year subscription is $19.95.
