While my family enjoys lapbooking and unit studies throughout the school year, the holidays are a perfect opportunity for those new to it to give it a try! What a fun way to “do school” during the month of December.  A Journey Through Learning offers several holiday themed studies, including wonderful Winter, Christmas, A Polar Christmas, A Snowy Day and The Arrival of a King.

I would love a copy of Wonderful Winter as it has topics my children would love: weather, survival, etc. I also checked out the Polar Express lapbook and that looks equally inviting with the nice sample pages. Lapbooks are a fun way for the whole family to learn together and they really retain the information.

  2. I hadn’t been familiar with Lapbooks before your post. Have to say – they all look like wonderful resources. If I had to select one to start with – I think it would be “The Parables of a King”.

  3. i would have to say The Desert for us. We have never lived as close as we do now to the desert and we need to learn a little more.
    I love their website and am headed back over to look around some more.
