Write with WORLD is a brand new writing curriculum from the publisher’s of God’s World News and World Magazine. The Old Schoolhouse Crew received year one of this 2 year program recommended for middle-school students.

Write with WORLD was developed by education and media professionals so you can teach writing with confidence. This curriculum will inspire and train your students to become proficient communicators who can exceed educational requirements and navigate today’s growing media and conflicting worldviews.

Write with WORLD exposes students to:

  • reading that develops discernment
  • contemporary subjects and professional guidance to pique interest
  • flexible exercises to build confidence and skill for using today’s new media
  • a thoughtful and meaningful Christian worldview

Year one consists of a teacher and student book. The student textbook consists of 16 key lessons divided into 4 units. They will learn concepts of comparative and critical reading, writing fundamentals, narratives, reporting, reviewing, critique and opinion. The teacher handbook explains the objectives, methodology, and evaluation for each unit. The complete student book is included in the teacher book along with guidance and teaching helps. The textbook is non-consumable and each student will need a notebook to record their work.

Write with WORLD will teach your students to write with purpose while being connected to writing professionals. The timely and thoughtful assignments will encourage your student to discuss ideas and language with parents/teachers.
