Sense & Sensibility Patterns

Are you interested in teaching your young lady to sew?  Maybe you’re just intrigued with the fashions of periods past, and would love to recreate them for yourself and/or your children.  Either way, you’ll find Sense & Sensibility to be just what you are looking for.  Just watching their site intro is enjoyable and relaxing! The Sense & Sensibility website contains a wealth of information. You can choose from a wide variety of patterns, separated into categories by historical period; take an online sewing class and get lots of great sewing tips; check out the vintage images and the FAQ section; as well as meet the creator Sense & Sensibility, check out the online message forum, and sign up for the e-newsletter.

We were anxious for the opportunity to review a Sense & Sensibility pattern. The one that the Crew will be reviewing is the Girl’s Edwardian Apron pattern. They have received the apron pattern (which is for sizes 2-14) and will also be reviewing the e-class for this product.  Hopefully, they will even share pictures of their creations!

  1. We had a great time making this apron. My little girl really loves it and has been wearing it nonstop. Thanks for this opportunity.

  2. My daughter and I just love this apron! Mary Grace "supervised" the sewing since she's only 6 years old. She is now enjoying wearing it so much! I think I will make more in different fabrics.
