Tales of Peter Rabbit (Kinder Cottage Review)

kindercottagelogoKinder Cottage Publishing is a company that was started in 2012 by parents, Howard and Ann Closs, who wanted to instill in their own four children a love of their rich heritage. The company focuses on materials that are characteristic of western civilization such as literature, history, culture, and Christianity.

Their main goal is to develop and provide products that help parents instruct and train their young children.

Review Crew members were recently given the opportunity to choose two 5×7 hardback picture books from a wonderful Peter Rabbit series which includes the following ten titles:

The Tale of Peter Rabbit

Peter Rabbit at the Farm

Peter Rabbit’s Christmas

How Peter Rabbit Went to Sea

Peter Rabbit Goes A-Visiting

Peter Rabbit’s Easter

Peter Rabbit’s Birthday

When Peter Rabbit Went to School

Peter Rabbit and the Little Boy

Peter Rabbit and Jack the Jumper

The books in this Peter Rabbit series are adaptations of the original works written by Duff Graham for the Henry Altemus Company in the early 1900s. Beautiful, color illustrations have been preserved, and though true to the original works, some of the text has been updated to reflect our modern language.

Each timeless tale is ideal for children ages 3-9 and features the mischievous yet lovable character, Peter Rabbit, and a unique adventure. All of the books have 64 pages except for two of them which have 56 pages. Samples of each book are provided on the Kinder Cottage Publishing website.
