Last year’s Crew had opportunity to review the art curriculum from Artistic Pursuits.  You can see their thoughts here

We are pleased to have Artistic Pursuits back for a 2nd year.  This year’s Crew will be reviewing various books from the Artistic Pursuits product line, which includes books for all ages, preschool through high school.  I would encourage you to click on the following links, which will take you directly to the Artistic Pursuits website, where you can find more information on each of these products.

PRESCHOOL

GRADES K-3

GRADES 4-6

JUNIOR HIGH

SENIOR HIGH

In addition to product information, you’ll also find full color page samples from each of these books/series.  I have the entire collection of Artistic Pursuits curriculum, and have been very pleased!

Here’s what the Crew thinks:

Artistic Pursuits is a great fit with our family. I don't have to know art history or technique – it's all there. I combine all my kids and we have a lot of fun.

This is one of my top two picks for this year. Artistic Pursuits is a wonderful resource not just for art instruction, but for art history and art appreciation. It's beautifully made and could easily be used without any parental instruction. Great…great resource.

I thought my daughter would run with this but it looks like she will need a lot of help from me.
