Contest Subject to Official Rules: All entrants and entries in the Schoolhouse Review Crew Giveaway (“Contest”), are subject to these contest-specific rules (“Contest Rules”), the Old Schoolhouse Magazine Official Contest Rules (“Official Rules”), which are incorporated herein by reference as though set forth in full, and applicable law. The Old Schoolhouse Magazine Official Contest Rules can be found online at http://thehomeschoolmagazine.com/pages/contests/ Entering the Contest is an acknowledgement that the Entrant has read and agrees to these Contest Rules and the Official Rules.

Eligibility:   The Schoolhouse Review Crew Contests (“Contest(s)”) are open to natural persons over the age of eighteen (18) years who reside in the United States and who are not otherwise disqualified by and comply with the Official Rules, Contest Rules and applicable law (“Entrants”). The following persons are not eligible to enter or participate in Contests:  (a) officers, employees, independent contractors and affiliates of The Old Schoolhouse Magazine, LLC, (b) Contest sponsors, (c) companies or individuals providing Contest prizes, (d) persons who have won a Contest within the ninety (90) day period immediately preceding the relevant contest, and (e) family members of and persons living in the same household with any of the persons named in (a), (b), (c) and (d).

EntryQualified Entrants may enter the Contest by leaving a comment on the Contest-specific post at the “Schoolhouse Review Crew blog” (www.SchoolhouseReviewCrew.com) during the Contest Period or by mail. Each qualifying comment or mail-in entry gives the Entrant one (1) entry (“Entry”) into the relevant Contest. Limit one entry per qualifying Entrant or household. Entries are good for one Contest only and expire at the end of the relevant Contest. Entrants may enter either by commenting or by mail, but not both. Mail-in entries must contain the Entrant’s full legal name, mailing address, phone number, e-mail address and the words “Schoolhouse Saturday Swag” clearly hand-printed or typed on a 3″ × 5″ card and must be mailed to “Attn: Schoolhouse Saturday Swag, The Old Schoolhouse Magazine, LLC, P.O. Box 8426, Gray, Tennessee 37615.” Mail-in entries must be postmarked on or before the date the relevant Contest ends. Mail-in entries which do not meet these specifications are void and will be discarded. Entrants who choose to enter by mail assume all risks, including without limitation risks of mailing times, delays, lost entries, and lost or missing information. Incorrect, illegible, and incomplete entries, including without limitation entries which do not include a valid email address, are void. TOS reserves the sole, discretionary right to determine whether any attempted Entry constitutes a valid Entry and to disqualify and/or delete any comment or Entry which, in TOS’ sole judgment, does not qualify as a valid Entry.

Contest Period:  Contests start when the relevant contest post goes live on the Schoolhouse Review Crew blog and end at 11:59 p.m. (EST) on the end date stated in the relevant post (“Contest Period”). Entries, including without limitation comments on the Schoolhouse Review Crew Blog and mail-in entries, not received by The Old Schoolhouse Magazine, LLC (“Sponsor”), before the end of the Contest Period are void. Entries made after the end of the Contest Period are void and will not result in Entries or eligibility to win. Non-winning Entries will be discarded after the prize drawing, which will take place within seven (7) days after the end of the Contest Period. The Contest winner (“Winner”) will be selected by random drawing from all eligible Entries received during the Contest Period, and will be notified by email. Winners may also be identified by name on the Sponsor’s website (located on the Internet at http://www.schoolhousereviewcrew.com) (“Website”) and/or Facebook page. Entry constitutes the Entrant’s irrevocable consent to be identified by name on the Sponsor’s Website and Facebook page in the event the Entrant becomes a Winner. 

Prize, Notification:  Only one Winner will be chosen per contest. The Winner will receive the prize indicated on the blog entry associated with the relevant Contest (“Prize”). Prizes are not exchangeable and may not be traded for cash or other items. Only one Prize will be awarded per Contest. WINNERS ACCEPT SOLE RESPONSIBILITY FOR ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL TAXES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OR USE OF ANY PRIZE. No substitutions or exchanges (including for cash) of Prizes are or will be permitted. Winners will be notified by email. Entries constitute permission for the Winner’s name to be displayed, along with text identifying the Winner as the Winner of the Contest, (a) on the Sponsor’s Website, Facebook page and the Schoolhouse Review Crew blog, and (b) on related or linked websites and Internet pages owned and/or operated by Sponsors. To claim the Prize the Winner must follow the instructions contained in the notification email within two (2) days after the date of the notification email. Failure to respond to the notification email and follow the instructions contained therein within two (2) days after the date of Sponsor’s notification email constitutes the Winner’s irrevocable decision to forfeit the Prize. As a condition of being awarded a Prize, the Winner may be required to execute and deliver to the Sponsors a signed affidavit of eligibility and acceptance of these Official Rules and release of liability, at Sponsors’ sole discretion. Winners agree to execute any such affidavit and to accept all of the terms and conditions of winning a Prize. Winners may not have won or received a Prize from a Contest on the Schoolhouse Review Crew blog within the preceding ninety (90) days.

Odds of Winning: Odds of winning will vary depending on the number of eligible Entries. Prizes are not transferable.

Sponsors: The Contest is sponsored by the Schoolhouse Review Crew and The Old Schoolhouse Magazine, LLC (“Sponsor”).

Release of Liability:. Submission of an Entry into the Contest constitutes the Entrant’s agreement to waive, release and discharge the Sponsor and the Sponsor’s officers, employees, contractors, agents, successors and assigns from any and all claims, demands, causes of action and liabilities (including without limitation costs and attorney fees) (collectively, “Claims”), known or unknown, that the Entrant may have or claim to have in connection with, relating to or arising out of (a) the Contest, (b) Prizes, (c) the use or publication of intellectual property or specific personal information submitted with or as part of a Contest Entry, unless and to the extent the relevant use or publication results from the willful misconduct of Sponsors, (c) the nature and content of the Contest and Prize, (d) the ability or inability of individual entrants to access Internet websites, email addresses or other information at any time and for any reason, and (e) acceptance, possession, use and the nature of Prizes won as a result of participating in Contests. Entrants accept full responsibility for and agree to fully indemnify Sponsor against any and all Claims arising out of or relating to the Contest, Prizes, or the substance and content of their Contest Entries.

No Warranties:  Sponsors and their officers, employees, agents, representatives, affiliates, advertisers and sponsors accept no liability and make no representations or warranties, express or implied, with respect to any aspect of the Contest, including without limitation (a) Contest Prizes, (b) the form, substance and content of Entries, including without limitation Entries containing false or inaccurate information, (c) entries which fail to comply with Contest guidelines, Official Rules, Contest Rules or applicable law, (d) entries which may be lost, incomplete, illegible, damaged, submitted after the end of the Contest Period or not received, regardless of the reason or justification for damage, destruction, deletion or failure of delivery, (e) technical errors or malfunctions, whether or not caused by or originating with Sponsors’ equipment, (f) the functionality of the Internet, email servers or websites, (g) loss, injury or damage of any kind caused by, resulting from or arising out of any Contest, entry, prize or related matter, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Entrants accept sole and complete responsibility for making sure Contest entries are received in an appropriate form and timely manner.

General Terms: Websites, including Sponsor’s websites and the Schoolhouse Review Crew blog, involve online content which may change during use. Contest Entries must be submitted in accordance with the Contest Rules, the Official Rules and applicable law. Sponsors reserve the sole, discretionary and absolute right to determine Contest Winners and to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend any Contest at any time with or without notice or cause. Sponsors reserve the sole, discretionary and absolute right to resolve any dispute relating to or arising out of any Contest. Entries are void where prohibited by law. Entries constitute the Entrant’s agreement to be bound by and comply with the Official Rules, the Contest Rules and applicable law, and the Entrant’s warranty that the Entrant (a) has read and understood all relevant rules, and (b) is eligible to win. Improperly submitted entries or entries submitted in violation of applicable law are void and not eligible for consideration. The Contest is subject to applicable laws. The Contest and all Contest rules will be governed, construed and interpreted under the laws of the state of California. Sponsors are not responsible for late, lost, illegible, incomplete, damaged or misdirected entries and accept no responsibility for any injury, loss or damage resulting from Prizes or participation in the Contest. If any conflict arises between the Official Rules and these Contest Rules the Official Rules will prevail. If any conflict arises between Contest Rules or the Official Rules and applicable law the law will prevail, the relevant Rules will be deleted, modified or limited to the extent necessary and the other provisions of the Rules will remain in full force and effect.  For a copy of the Official Rules and/or these Contest Specific Rules, send a written request with a self-addressed, stamped envelope to “Schoolhouse Saturday Swag Contest Rules Request, The Old Schoolhouse Magazine, LLC, P.O. Box 8426, Gray, Tennessee 37615.”. All Entries and information submitted as part of or in connection with Entries become the sole and exclusive property of Sponsor and will not be returned.

Disqualifications:  Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any Entrant or Entry which attempts to circumvent or break Contest Rules, tamper with the Contest process or otherwise interfere with proper functioning of the Contest, whether or not said Entrant or Entry succeeds in doing so. Entries received in violation of Contest Rules, the Official Rules or applicable law or submitted by Entrants whose conduct violates the Rules and/or applicable law are automatically null and void.

No Purchase Necessary. No purchase is necessary to enter the Contest.
